Prima Ballerina

This past weekend was Haven's first ballet recital.


She had no idea what she was in for but she has never had a problem being in front of people so we knew she would do great. Dancing is one of her favorite things and it was fun to watch her.



Here she is with one of her little friends from dance class. Haven is always admiring the girls with long hair and Brooke has got gorgeous long brown hair.

And TA-DA!! I finally learned how to upload video. Yay! Here is Haven doing her thing. So so so cute. Her favorite part of the whole thing was the curtsy at the end but as you can see she obviously had a 'nose itch" and missed out on performing that part. It's O.K. though because that's the part she continues to do for us every day. Good job Gracie. We loved seeing you dance.






P.S. These are the tutus we made for one of the classes. They came out really sweet. We were thankful for the opportunity to do them and hope we get to do lots more.

Wave like a princess

This weekend we had a little local parade and Haven's dance class was on a float. She was adorable. She told me she was "just like a ballerina princess". They had candy to throw out to the kids and they each got only one handful. We were at the end of the parade route so we would be closer to picking her up and she waited the whole time and threw everything she got to her brothers and sister. Thanks sis. You're a sweetheart.

Haven's First Day of Dance Class

Soooo fun.   She took right to it but that wasn't much of a surprise!  She loved every minute of it and wonders why every day can't be dance class day.  She was very excited to show brothers and Daddy her toe taps and toe tips.  After putting in my dues so far with the four boys and their basketball, football, soccer, baseball,  bug hunting, critter catching, cub/boy scouting phases.... not that that wasn't fun but this is  a breath of fun cute fresh dancing air that is just AHHHHH... fun.
